What do you do?
When your emotions feel as though you are walking through a dense fog which doesn't lift?
When the path you're following becomes obliterated by now and everything is frozen in its wake?
When you feel all alone in a vast wasteland?
When life's conditions are harsh, and just meeting your basic needs is a struggle?
When everything is frozen?
When there seems no end in sight to the struggle to survive, to move on, to recover from life's events?
And then a friend comes to join you. To sit with you. To let you know that you're not alone in the struggle for survival?
Soon the one is joined by more members of the flock.
And suddenly as they with with you, you realize that you're not alone in the frozen wasteland of your emotions.
You draw strength from those sitting with you.
And you know that you WILL survive to live another day, to meet another challenge.
Thanking all my friends, family, encouragers and supporters who give me the strength and courage to face my challenges and move on towards complete recovery from trauma.
